Harrison and McCutcheon are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2023, but likely not for long. The Raiders will take on the Mavericks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Harrison is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Harrison is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over Lafayette Jefferson. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Bronchos: they've now won seven in a row.

Chase Gothrup spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up 15 Ks. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kaden Keys was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Braylen Hands, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

McCutcheon never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Kokomo on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Wildkats with a sharp 11-2 victory. The Mavericks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by seven runs or more this season.

McCutcheon's win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Harrison, their victory bumped their record up to 18-10.

Harrison got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April against McCutcheon by a conclusive 12-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
