Baseball Game Preview: Pittsford Wildcats vs. North Adams-Jerome Rams

The Pittsford Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the North Adams-Jerome Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Pittsford came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Camden-Frontier, falling 12-4.

Meanwhile, North Adams-Jerome waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Terriers with a sharp 10-2 win. While the Rams didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Pittsford's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-3. As for North Adams-Jerome, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Pittsford beat North Adams-Jerome 15-11 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
