After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Farmington, Taylorsville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Skyline Eagles by a score of 46-39. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 71-33 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2020.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ashley Price, who posted eight points in addition to seven boards and six assists. Price has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Mia Johnson, who put up 11 points and five rebounds.
With the victory, Taylorsville broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5. As for Skyline, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
