Goose Creek has gone 7-2 against Fort Dorchester recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Goose Creek Gators will be home for the holidays to greet the Fort Dorchester Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Goose Creek saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 63-53 to First Baptist School. While losing is never fun, the Gators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 15th).

Meanwhile, Fort Dorchester ended up a good deal behind White Knoll on Saturday and lost 45-28.

Despite the loss, Fort Dorchester saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kylee Clarke went 5 of 11 on her way to 11 points and five steals. Clarke is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Saniyah Joyner, who posted six points.

Fort Dorchester's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Goose Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
