Lynn Classical and Chelsea are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2023, but not for long. The Rams will host the Red Devils at 11:15 a.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lynn Classical is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Massachusetts' top teams: Somerville, who was ranked 17th at the time (Lynn Classical was ranked 13th). The Rams blew past the Highlanders 3-0 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 26-24, 26-24.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Chelsea, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate on Friday.

Lynn Classical's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Chelsea, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Everything went Lynn Classical's way against Chelsea in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Lynn Classical made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Red Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
