Butternut lost to Solon Springs back in September, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Midgets walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles.

Butternut easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17.

Their offense was headlined by Olivia Hamann and Gianna Nahring, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Lizzie Pritzl and her ten assists. Alli Lueloff controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Butternut's victory bumped their record up to 15-18. As for Solon Springs, they dropped their record down to 9-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Butternut will face off against rival Hurley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Solon Springs is set to take on their familiar foe Mercer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
