Recap: East Webster Wolverines vs. Starkville Academy Volunteers
It was a good run, but the East Webster Wolverines unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They were beaten by Starkville Academy 63-35. East Webster lost against Starkville Academy in their previous head to head back in December of 2017, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 51-35 score last time.
Starkville Academy found their leader in underclassman Raylee Jones, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds.
East Webster's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Starkville Academy, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5.
