Soccer Recap: Crosby Falls Short of Friendswood in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Crosby can now relate to. They came up short against the Friendswood Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 5-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Crosby haven't been shut out since back in January.

Crosby moved to 21-4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for Friendswood, the victory was the 20th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-2-1.

Crosby does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Friendswood, they will challenge Georgetown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Georgetown will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Friendswood surely won't give up without a fight.
