Softball Recap: Eunice Takes a Loss

Eunice lost against Iowa back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eunice Bobcats lost 12-1 to the Iowa Yellowjackets. The matchup marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Eunice's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Iowa, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eunice will venture away from home to face off against Leesville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Iowa, they will head out to square off against LaGrange at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Iowa's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last five games.
