Soccer Recap: Selma Comes Up Short

After flying high against Kingsburg last Tuesday, Selma came back down to earth. The Selma Bears fell just short of the Exeter Monarchs by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The shutout was out of character for the Bears seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Selma's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-3. As for Exeter, their record now sits at 7-8-1.

Selma will host Kerman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Exeter, they will take on Washington Union at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
