Soccer Recap: Carmel Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Carmel, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They never let the North Monterey County Condors onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in January.

Carmel's win bumped their record up to 8-5-1. As for North Monterey County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carmel has already played their next contest (against Gonzales), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. North Monterey County will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Monte Vista Christian at 5:45 p.m. on February 13th.
