Basketball Recap: Harmony Bryant Key Part of a Team Effort in Bulldogs Win

Thomasville's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took down the Berrien Rebels 50-35. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Thomasville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Harmony Bryant, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds. Bryant is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jayla Brooks, who went 5 for 9 en route to 15 points.

Thomasville's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Berrien, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Thomasville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-38 loss against Fitzgerald on the 18th. Berrien has also already played their next contest, a 31-23 victory against Jeff Davis on the 18th.
