Basketball Recap: Woodstock North Takes a Loss

After flying high against Harvard last Tuesday, Woodstock North came back down to earth. The Woodstock North Thunder fell 47-37 to the Lakes Eagles on Friday. The Thunder were probably out for revenge after losing 50-36 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Woodstock North has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season. As for Lakes, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

Woodstock North will be playing at home against Sandwich at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lakes, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-45 loss against Normal West on the 18th.
