Volleyball Recap: Scituate Takes a Loss

Scituate lost against Duxbury back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Sailors came up short against the Dragons, falling 3-0. The Sailors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 25-12.

Anna Bradley paced Scituate's offense, picking up 14 kills. Bradley got some help from Serena Whitelock and her 18 assists. Whitelock was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Maria Torres was a one-woman wrecking crew For Duxbury. as she had 18 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Torres has posted over her last six contests.

Scituate's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Duxbury, they pushed their record up to 20-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road.

Scituate has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Norwell on the 23rd. Duxbury has also already played their next match (against North Quincy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
