Soccer Game Preview: Pacific vs. San Bernardino

The Pacific Pirates will head out on the road to square off against the San Bernardino Cardinals at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pacific lost 5-2 to Indian Springs on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 865th, while the COYOTES are ranked 337th).

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, San Bernardino made sure to put some goals up on the board against Entrepreneur on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Panthers a 7-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Adrian Reyes as he scored three goals for his team.

Pacific has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9-2 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those five games. As for San Bernardino, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11-1.
