Baseball Recap: Atlanta Comes Up Short

Atlanta and Hughes Springs squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Atlanta had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 6-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 on Thursday.

Atlanta's loss dropped their record down to 15-9-1. As for Hughes Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Atlanta nor Hughes Springs have any future games scheduled.
