Football Recap: Hart Piles Up the Points Against Wildorado

Hart hadn't done well against Wildorado recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Longhorns blew past the Mustangs 82-25. Fans of the Longhorns have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Yael Soltero went supernova, rushing for 196 yards and four TDs on only nine carries, while also picking up 79 receiving yards and three scores. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks, forcing one fumble, and making ten total tackles. Tradien Worsham was another major influence, as he rushed for 105 yards and ran in a TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hart was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 333 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 210 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Hart's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Soltero was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself.

Hart's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Wildorado, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Hart wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 51-24 win against Wellman-Union on the 26th. As for Wildorado, they have also already played their next matchup, a 75-71 loss against Groom on the 26th.
