Football Recap: Douglass Takes a Loss

Douglass fell victim to Peabody and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Golden Tide, falling 56-0. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 348th, while the Golden Tide are ranked 138th).

Douglass' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Peabody, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Douglass will take on Bolton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Peabody, they will square off against Union City on Friday.
