Football Recap: South Davidson Wildcats vs. South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls
South Davidson fell victim to South Stanly and their airtight defense on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 66-0 loss at the hands of the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls. The defeat leaves the Wildcats without a win on the season.
Kaleb Ricardson was a one-man wrecking crew for South Stanly as he threw for 283 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Kylan Dockery did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 86 receiving yards.
South Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for South Stanly, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
South Davidson will take on North Rowan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Stanly, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they face off against Wheatmore at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Stanly is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
