Kennedy got a massive performance out of Jessica Monarrez, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most hits Monarrez has posted over her last ten contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylie Gallas, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Kennedy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bulls College Prep). Everything went their way against Our Lady of Tepeyac on Thursday as they made off with a 22-4 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulls.
Lea Lobaton was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Denalia Medina was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI.

Tuesday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Kennedy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .411. However, it's not like Bulls College Prep struggles in that department as they've averaged .336. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Kennedy took their win against Bulls College Prep when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 14-1 score. Will the Crusaders repeat their success, or do the Bulls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
