Football Game Preview: Lake Hamilton Wolves vs. El Dorado Wildcats + How To Watch

The Lake Hamilton Wolves will take on the El Dorado Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Lake Hamilton turned things around against Russellville on Friday. They really took it to the Cyclones for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-14 victory. The Wolves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lake Hamilton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jace Bohannan, who threw for 328 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 8-for-8 passing, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Those 328 passing yards gave Bohannan a new career-high. Jj Johnson helped Bohannan out on the ground, picking up 137 receiving yards and a pair of scores, while also rushing for 57 yards and one touchdown.

Lake Hamilton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 261 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for El Dorado on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Sheridan out of the water with a 62-23 final score. The Wildcats pushed the score to 49-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Yellowjackets had little chance of recovering from.

Lake Hamilton's record now sits at 3-7. As for El Dorado, their record is now 7-3.

Lake Hamilton suffered a grim 48-27 defeat to El Dorado in their previous meeting back in November of 2021. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
