Basketball Recap: Grace Heston's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Christian Fellowship over Sacred Heart

Christian Fellowship was the 42-19 winner over Sacred Heart when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Christian Fellowship took a 37-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sacred Heart on Tuesday. Christian Fellowship has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Christian Fellowship lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Grace Heston, who posted ten points along with five rebounds and five steals. Ariya Barton was another key player, putting up five points and seven boards.

Christian Fellowship now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Sacred Heart, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Christian Fellowship is taking a road trip to square off against Monroe City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sacred Heart, they will face off against Lafayette County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
