Basketball Recap: Battle Creek Piles Up the Points Against Crofton

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Battle Creek). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Crofton Warriors 93-64. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Braves had established a 21 point advantage.

When it comes to explaining why Crofton lost, don't look at Trevor Allen. Despite the final result, he posted 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Panning, who put up 11 points.

Battle Creek's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6. As for Crofton, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Battle Creek and Norfolk Catholic will face off at 7:45 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Crofton, they will challenge Creighton at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th.
