Whiteland won the last time they faced Indian Creek and things went their way on Thursday too. The Whiteland Warriors walked away with a 73-63 victory over the Indian Creek Braves.

Whiteland got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ethan Edwards out in front who went 9-for-15 on his way to 35 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Edwards has scored at least a third of Whiteland's points. Gavin Stubbe was another key player, going 6-for-12 to rack up 20 points and five boards.

Indian Creek's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jagger Staats, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Those 16 points gave Staats a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Adam Crouch, who posted 20 points and three steals.

Whiteland's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Indian Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-9.
