Baseball Recap: Havana Takes a Loss

Havana lost against Abingdon/Avon back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ducks fell 7-4 to the Tornadoes.

Havana saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb McDaniel, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Havana dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Abingdon/Avon, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Havana will square off against Peoria Heights at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. This will be the Ducks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Abingdon/Avon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bushnell-Prairie City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
