Soccer Recap: Alamogordo Comes Up Short

Alamogordo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Centennial Hawks, falling 6-0. Alamogordo were not able to make up for their defeat to Centennial from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Alamogordo's loss dropped their record down to 5-5-1. As for Centennial, they pushed their record up to 8-1-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Alamogordo is set to challenge their familiar foe Organ Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Centennial will square off against rival Mayfield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
