Volleyball Recap: Porter Snags Sixth Victory in Last Eight Games

While Porter didn't have the best season last year (they finished 17-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the MacArthur Generals on Saturday. This was payback for the Spartans, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Porter is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for MacArthur, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Porter has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Eisenhower on the 23rd. Hopefully MacArthur paid attention to the Spartans' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Spartans at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
