Soccer Recap: Evergreen Valley Takes a Loss

Evergreen Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 6-1 to the James Lick Comets. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Cougars were already down 4-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Emmanuel Sebastian, which was the first he's scored this season.

Evergreen Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for James Lick, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Evergreen Valley will face off against Monta Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Monta Vista is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season. As for James Lick, they will be playing at home against Independence at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
