Whitko won the last time they faced Northfield and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wildcats blew past the Norsemen 9-2. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Addie Garr and Cassidy Skinner made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Garr didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Skinner pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Garr has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.
