Football Recap: East Aurora/Holland Comes Up Short

East Aurora/Holland extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 1-7. They had to suffer through a 47-6 loss at the hands of the Iroquois Redhawks. The game marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

As for Iroquois, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The result was nothing new for the Redhawks, who have now won six contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Iroquois got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Justus Kleitz out in front who threw for 315 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 15.8 yards per attempt. Kleitz is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last four games he's played. Nicholas Skutnik was in the mix too, providing Iroquois with two TDs.

East Aurora/Holland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Iroquois, they will be playing at home against South Park at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
