Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Talia Marinaro stepped things up a notch to give Cardinal Gibbons the 'W'. Marinaro scored a run while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, which was good enough to also set a new career-high in doubles.

Marinaro's strong effort led Cardinal Gibbons over Sanderson and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans are limping into the matchup having lost 11 straight on the road dating back to last season.
