Football Recap: Briggs Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Briggs and Eastmoor Academy, and Eastmoor Academy kept the tradition alive. The Bruins received a blow on Thursday as they fell 24-6 to the Warriors. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

David Malone threw for 29 yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Cayden Mason-Forgrave rushed for 69 yards on only nine carries.

Briggs now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Eastmoor Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.
