Norwayne had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Wellington Dukes get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Friday. Seven seems to be a good number for the Bobcats as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Norwayne pushed their record up to 18-8 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Wellington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.
