San Mateo came tearing into Friday's game with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Capuchino Mustangs 57-30. The Bearcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.

Capuchino lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Isaiah Pogue, who posted four points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Estrella, who scored seven points.

San Mateo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points per game. As for Capuchino, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-12.
