Even though the Carl Junction Bulldogs scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, the Branson Pirates still came out on top. Branson took their contest against Carl Junction 71-58. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Branson.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cooper Vediz, who scored 14 points along with seven assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Deacon Endicott, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Branson's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Carl Junction, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

Branson will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Carthage at 7:30 p.m. Branson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Carthage likes a good challenge. As for Carl Junction, they will head out on the road to square off against Neosho at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Neosho focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Thursday.
