Basketball Recap: Red Boiling Springs Comes Up Short

Red Boiling Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 38-28 to the Westmoreland Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 29-28 back in January.

Red Boiling Springs' loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Westmoreland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-9.

Looking ahead, Red Boiling Springs will square off against Monterey at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Red Boiling Springs is facing Monterey at the right time seeing as Monterey is stuck on a 19-game losing streak. As for Westmoreland, they will face off against White House-Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
