Softball Recap: Chandler Comes Up Short

Chandler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eastmark Firebirds. That's two games in a row now that the Wolves have lost by exactly two runs.

Cian Noli was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Lily Kolsrud, who scored a run and stole a base.

Chandler's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Eastmark, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Chandler will take on Valley Christian in a tournament on Friday. As for Eastmark, they will welcome Mountain Ridge at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
