Fairfield Prep extended their winning streak to 23 on Tuesday, bumping them up to 26-1. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Platt Panthers. The result was nothing new for the Jesuits, who have now won 15 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Jack Buck looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Fairfield Prep got a massive performance out of Brady Cesseratto, who went 2-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Cesseratto has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Ventrelle, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

As for Platt, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-12-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since April 29th.

On Platt's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gio DeMatteo, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Looking ahead, Fairfield Prep will take on Danbury at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Platt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
