Volleyball Game Preview: Bishop Guertin Cardinals vs. Souhegan Sabers

The Bishop Guertin Cardinals will venture away from home to challenge the Souhegan Sabers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Guertin is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Bishop Guertin is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Mascenic Regional, who was ranked 11th at the time (Bishop Guertin was ranked 14th). The Cardinals took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Souhegan came up short against Timberlane on Wednesday and fell 3-1. The Sabers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop Guertin's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Souhegan, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Bishop Guertin took their win against Souhegan in their previous meeting back in April of 2021 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Cardinals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Sabers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
