Football Recap: Troy Starts Season with Loss at Home

Troy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 54-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Victor Pirates on Saturday. Surprisingly, this marked the Trojans' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Troy is set to take on their familiar foe Superior at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Victor will square off against rival Darby at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
