Baseball Recap: Lighthouse Christian Comes Up Short

Lighthouse Christian easily dispatched Aurora Christian Academy on Monday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Chargers fell just short of the Clever Blue Jays by a score of 5-3 on Wednesday.

Lighthouse Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Etem, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Lighthouse Christian dropped their record down to 23-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Clever, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lighthouse Christian will host Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clever, they will welcome Monett at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
