They strolled past the Hughesville Spartans with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 66-49. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 283rd, while the Spartans are ranked 619th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Southern Columbia Area is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Hughesville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.
