Basketball Recap: Jesuit Starts Season with Win Against Land O' Lakes

Jesuit gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They managed an 88-82 victory over the Land O' Lakes Gators. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jesuit to victory, but perhaps none more so than Damien Ross, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 14 boards. Those 14 rebounds gave Ross a new career-high. Tyler Caouette` was another key player, dropping a double-double with 22 points and ten boards.
