Soccer Game Preview: Braden River vs. Jesuit

The Braden River Pirates will head out to face off against the Jesuit Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Braden River is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.

Braden River is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Golden Gate, sneaking past 3-2.

Braden River hit Golden Gate with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nicolas Sarmiento, Brandin Gallaway, and Omar Guzman.

Meanwhile, Jesuit had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.4 goals) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over the Green Wave. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by three goals or more this season.

Jesuit's victory was their 15th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 83 goals over those 15 matches. As for Braden River, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4-2 record this season.
