Basketball Recap: Jefferson Christian Academy Eagles vs. Midfield Patriots

Jefferson Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Midfield Patriots 101-27. The Eagles lost against the Patriots in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 85-52 score last time.

Jefferson Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Colt Willmon, who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Josh Marshall, who earned 11 points and four blocks.

Aaron Adams-Martin was a one-man wrecking crew For Midfield. as he went 14-for-18 on his way to 34 points in addition to eight boards and six assists. Those 34 points gave Adams-Martin a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Clarence Woods, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds.
