Basketball Game Preview: Starmount Rams vs. North Davidson Black Knights

The Starmount Rams are taking a road trip to challenge the North Davidson Black Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with nine defeats in a row dating back to last season, Starmount turned things around against Forbush on Friday. They managed a 49-45 win over the Falcons. The Rams' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Corey Armstrong was the offensive standout of the contest as he dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Ryley Rodriguez was another key player, putting up ten points.

Starmount smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, North Davidson posted their biggest victory since February 20th on Tuesday. They blew past East Davidson, posting a 53-22 win.

Starmount's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-4. As for North Davidson, their record is now 5-2.
