Recap: Berlin Redcoats vs. Southington Blue Knights
On Monday, the Berlin Redcoats's game was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 47-40 win over Southington. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Berlin also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Despite the loss, Southington still got an impressive performance from Lily Cooper, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Cooper hasn't dropped below two steals for 11 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Doherty, who scored nine points.
Berlin's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Southington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-7.
Berlin will look to defend their home court on Thursday against North Branford at 6:45 p.m. As for Southington, they will head out on the road to face off against South Windsor at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
