Kecoughtan is still undefeated this season after their contest against Woodside on Thursday, but Woodside came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 victory over the Wolverines. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since May 30, 2025.

The team relied heavily on Kason Boone, who went 4-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025. Jackson Mumford was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Kecoughtan kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in four consecutive matchups.

Kecoughtan's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Woodside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
