Basketball Recap: Kiefer Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

There's no place like home for Kiefer, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 51-28 margin over the Bristow Pirates on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 47-32 back in December of 2024.

Bristow's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Skylar Jamison, who posted nine points. The dominant performance also gave Jamison a new career-high in shooting accuracy (75%). Melanie Kent was another key player, putting up six points.

Kiefer's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.9 points over those games. As for Bristow, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Kiefer has already played their next matchup, a 49-39 win against Mannford on the 4th. As for Bristow, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 43-25 loss against Perkins-Tryon on the 4th.
