Basketball Recap: Pike Takes Down Ranked Male

Pike is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Male. The Red Devils came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 66-55. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Devils.

It was another big night for Landon Lampley, who went 7-for-10 on his way to 17 points and four steals. Jahari Miller was another key player, putting up nine points and four blocks.

Pike's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Male, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Pike has already played their next matchup, a 96-76 win against 21st Century Charter on the 12th. As for Male, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 80-60 victory against Fern Creek on the 9th.
